Many are debating whether the giving of money versus a compliment is more meaningful to people. Studies, like the one above, and recent polls seem to indicate that sincere compliments excite the reward area of the brain more than money!
I heard one person taking a poll comment that while the study may be true, it’s harder to give compliments?
