A Testimony of Satisfaction

Comments, Inspirational Stories
Sandy,

Just wanted to let you know that I really like the SOC card software. I recently sent out a card to a relative for his 60th birthday. By adding my own pictures, I could make it special.  Due to these pictures and the personal greetings, he’s keeping his card on his desk.  I don’t think he usually does that.

So thanks for the great gift of being able to customize my cards.

It’s February; Is Love In The Air? ~Sandy Morgan

Internet Tools, Sandy Morgan, Sending Cards

February is known for Valentines Day! It’s the day we all, especially us females, expect flowers, candy and cards. So, come on guys, step up to the plate! You don’t even have to go to the store. Just point your Browser to www.greetingcardschangelives.com or www.jansfreecard4u.com, click the banner and follow the instructions to send a no cost card to that favorite person in your life! A word of caution though, don’t mention the card didn’t cost you a cent. The hearts sparkling in the recipient eyes may turn to daggers!

We women are not immune from this gesture. Those favorite men in our life need to feel appreciated just as much as we do, maybe more. So, take the same advice and send a card, too!

Does Your CEO/Boss Do This? ~ Sandy Morgan

Business Building, Comments, Inspirational Stories, Sandy Morgan

Upgrading our card editor, like  upgrading/changing anything in life, hasn’t come without a few bumps and quirks. That goes without saying, right? From these unexpected challenges comes learning and understanding, the result being a better product or service!

I want to share with you the actions of our CEO when discovering a glitch that affected some card senders who’s cards did not get sent. In my case, I received  an email from the CEO, listing those  that didn’t  receive my cards. He went on to say that each one of those people would receive a personal card of apology from him, including a gift. Also, our personal accounts were reimbursed double that which was spent sending those cards!

Again, I ask you, would your boss do this?

“The Good Question” Aired by WCCO News ~ Sandy

In the News, Sandy Morgan, Sending Cards

Tired last night I went to bed early, hoping not to miss the 10 P.M. newscast.  One of the  features, on CBS affiliate in Minnesota, is called “The Good Question”. Viewers submit questions that get answered by reporter,  Jason DeRusha.

Anyway, I  did fall asleep! Luckily, I was able to view the report this morning at  http://wcco.com/goodquestion/why.christmas.cards.2.888082.html.  The answers for sending Holiday cards boiled down to; “Spread the Joy, Catch the Spirit and Reconnect”.  A pretty interesting story, viewers responded with  comments and reactions on Jason’s blog. Click on the above link to view it. You will see my comment there, too! :)

My question now is:  Why don’t we send cards for the reasons mentioned above all year around?

How does someone make money in the custom Greeting Cards business? ~ Sandy

Creative Cards, Internet Tools, Sandy Morgan, Sending Cards

It’s simple.

Everyone has a need to mail out greeting cards each year… everyone! Yet, who has the time or inclination to run to the store and pick out a card for each birthday, holiday, or special occasion that comes up?

That’s where we come in. Our web site offers a massive collection of high quality cards, that you can order instantly on line, customize to your exact likeness, and have mailed to your recipient. You can even plan card campaigns, and have hundreds of cards sent out by mail with just few quick clicks of the mouse.

In today’s busy world, a customizable card mailing service is a much needed AND appreciated thing. That’s why our company has grown by 300% per year (and seems to grow faster each year!)

By becoming involved with our company, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Here’s how it works.

Visit our web site, log in. Select your card design and various customizations. We then print your card for you. We print your photos inside the card. We print your custom message in your handwriting, with your signature. We stuff the envelope. We even lick the stamp and put it in the mail for you. No more yucky envelopes to lick!

We do all this for LESS THAN THE COST OF A STORE-BOUGHT GREETING CARD.

AND when you become a distributor we pay you generous commissions, up to 38%! We also give you coaching bonuses and overrides.

That sounds good! Right?

Lots of people send cards every year! Families send them. Churches send them. Businesses send them. In fact, they send 7.5 billion dollars worth of cards every year. Aren’t you affiliated with a church, a business or a non-profit?

An Email Worth Sharing! (from Virginia LaBelle)

Comments, Inspirational Stories, Sending Cards
This came through my emails and when I saw it, I thought of you! You are always so cheery that I love to talk with you as you always make my day!

V
———–
Every time you experience joy, there is one less person feeling pain. Each time you spread joy to another, the positive power of that joy begins to multiply.

There is no limit to how far and wide the joy can spread when you send it out beyond you. There is no telling what goodness will eventually result when you choose to nurture and send forth joy from your life.

To be truly joyful is not a self-centered pursuit. It is one of the most generous things you can do.

For your joy is infectious. The more sincerely you love life, the better life becomes for all those who come near you.

The joy you know will go out beyond you, out into a world where it will truly make a difference. Each moment lived in joy is a brilliance that can light the deepest darkness.
Give your heart the experience of joy. And that joy will expand far beyond you.

The Power of Appreciation ~ by Sandy Morgan

Comments, Inspirational Stories, Sandy Morgan, Sending Cards

This post was made by Sylvia Hill to a Yahoo Group we are both in. She was discussing the great power in showing appreciation to those around you. A simple smile to a passer-by can change the mood, even the life of that person!

I responded with: I love your post, Sylvia! Being in appreciation and Gratitude throughout each day creates a greater awareness of all that’s going on around you.

I am in a business that fosters the showing of gratitude and appreciation, sending impromptu cards. By doing this, you lift the Spirit of your recipients plus your Spirit is lifted because you are sending Appreciation/Gratitude into the Universe.

Sylvia’s responded with: Sandy ~
how wonderful to hear from You! Thanks for your reply. I so agree that being thankful and expressing it is a tremendous gift to ourselves and others and that the key is being aware of all there is to be thankful for.
Truly I get overwhelmed sometimes at the beauty all around me and taking it all in….. the people…. nature….. architecture….. the sun,….. the moon…. the stars. It is an abundance of wealth.
Expressing thanks in writing elevates the vibration of that thought. I love your cards and am touched when I receive one. How special, the thought that someone takes their precious time to bless me with a card!
Thanks for what you do, Sandy! It is a true blessing!

I just met (online) Dan Robey, with a great message! ~ by Sandy Morgan

Dan Robey, In the News, Inspirational Stories, Sandy Morgan, Sending Cards

Dan Robey’s book, “The Power of Positive Habits”, is a tremendous book to help anyone change their daily habits to create a more positive life for themselves and their families. The following article come his “The Best of Positive Habits.”

Everyone needs Sincere Appreciation

There is one thing that everyone in the world needs from time to time.

To be appreciated.

Here is a simple little habit that will show someone you love that you sincerely appreciate who they are, and what they mean to you.

Buy some Post-It notes and leave simple messages of appreciation in places where the notes will easily be seen by people you care about.

Here is an example:

Husbands can place Post-It notes on bathroom mirrors, in cars, or other places where their wives will likely see them. Write simple notes like; “I Love You,” “You looked beautiful at dinner last night,” “Thanks for taking such good care of our children,” Etc.

It is amazing how much better we all feel when we know that we are sincerely appreciated.

Leave positive message notes for your children, co-workers, friends, family, waiters, waitresses, the possibilities are endless. Just carry a package of Post-it notes with you for one day and use your imagination.

Make someone feel better about themself today!

Wishing you Continued Success!!

Most people choose compliments over cash ~ Sandy Morgan

CHICAGO (Reuters) – Paying people a compliment appears to activate the same reward center in the brain as paying them cash, Japanese researchers said on Wednesday. They said the study offers scientific (Read more by going to above url)

Many are debating whether the giving of money versus a compliment is more meaningful to people. Studies, like the one above, and recent polls seem to indicate that sincere compliments excite the reward area of the brain more than money!

I heard one person taking a poll comment that while the study may be true, it’s harder to give compliments?

#1 Solution: Send more greeting cards!

Tribute To A Mentor and Dear Friend’s Lost ~ Sandy

Comments, Inspirational Stories, Sandy Morgan

I’m sad. I want to be in Utah today, giving support t0 my dear friend Kody and family, as they put Kody’s Mother to rest. Diane Bateman passed over Tuesday, February 26th.

Kody knows the importance of keeping in touch with those you love, keeping lines of communication open. He also knows that keeping that open communication with clients/customers is good for business as well.

To quote Kody,

A prompting is a gift to you. What you do with it is your gift to others. When you read the stories of people in need, you will, likely, not know the person you are reading about. If you are prompted to send a card to that person, that is a gift to you. The card you send is your gift to that person. This is what sending out to give is all about.”

-Kody Bateman, CEO of Card Company

Thanks, Kody, for giving me the technology to communicate my gift!

Sandy
