Overcoming disability using internet tools

I wish to share a card I received, demonstrating the power of sending heartfelt cards.
“Sandy,
I wanted to let you know how deeply touched I was by the card you sent me. It was amazing to see all the cards that came to my Dad and my Grandpa and such kind words helped us greatly through a difficult time. I just wanted you to know that I received was from you and it meant more to me than anything in the world. I will cherish it forever, and I want to thank you for acting on your prompting because the result of that brought a smile to my face and helped me to remember to hold onto the great memories I have of my Grandma.
Thank you for reaching out and embracing me at a time when I needed it most. I appreciate the great friend you are to me and for the connection we share.
With Love,
Whitney”

This card will remain with me forever, to read whenever I need an uplift. Priceless, don’t you think?

Oh, this is neat. I found this blog today and I know both people. While not personally, I have seen both Sandy and Whitney at our SOC convention the last two summers.
Life is funny and full of surprises. Sandy, I love the energy you share with the group when you’re dancing with Kody, it makes our hearts sing.
Whitney, I too am sorry for the loss of your Grandma. She was a very special person and leaves a rich legacy. You all have an amazingly talented family with hearts as big as Texas.
Happy Sunday,
Andrea
Hey Andrea, and thanks for visiting~! Make sure I meet you at this Convention in August, OK?
Just think. We have watched this convention grow from 6,000 in 2006 to 10,000 in 2007 to who knows in 2008!
It’s phenomenal!
Sandy
